About the week
The UAE's arbitration landscape is particularly unique in hosting multiple seats of arbitration, including common law islands such as the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Abu Dhabi Global Market that co-exist with the traditional 'on-shore' seats in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other Emirates.
Since its inception, DAW has grown exponentially to become one of the largest and most well attended arbitration events in the world. With over 140 events planned for 2026, this year's DAW (taking place from 9 - 13 November 2026) is set to be the largest ever. The full schedule of events is live now.
DAW is organised by a committee of volunteers from the UAE's arbitration community who are proud to represent the interests of the local community and to promote international arbitration and ADR as peaceful means of dispute resolution.
