About the week
The UAE's arbitration landscape is particularly unique in hosting multiple seats of arbitration, including common law islands such as the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Abu Dhabi Global Market that co-exist with the traditional 'on-shore' seats in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other Emirates.
Since its inception, DAW has grown exponentially to become one of the largest and most well attended arbitration events worldwide, with over 180 events and 1,700 delegates hosted in 2025.
DAW is organised by a committee of volunteers from the UAE's arbitration community who are proud to represent the interests of the local community and to promote international arbitration and ADR as peaceful means of dispute resolution.
